Wow, I'm surprised. I thought I'd be the only one that yahoo as the homepage for news articles.

Do you spend about 1-3 hours a day commenting on yahoo news articles?  There are some funny comments on there sometimes but usually it is loaded with crap comments.

No, I spend a lot of time reading the comments though. I called a local radio station once and joked with the host that the comments are what make the Yahoo news page so great.

Why would people have google or other search engines as a homepage? That is what search bars are for.

www.bbc.co.uk

Set google as your homepage and you have a large centered search bar. The page also loads lightning fast.

I don't read any news articles online, so a site like the bbc is of no use to me.

Must be awkward if you have a guest over and they ask to check their email...

Google, as it's simple and quick. It's the default homepage on chrome, and i will keep it that way

I don't have a homepage. I use Google Chrome and the ""new tab" page is full with my most visited websites.
I can search google by typing something into the address bar. Very convenient.

Damn it!  How did I miss this...  I was waiting for someone to say something porn related.  Almost my entire plan while creating this thread....  You have earned your humor award back sir.  I am sorry for ever questioning your humor power level.

I like how they have that as a feature for Windows (where you can type anything in top bar of control panel or whatever box and it bing searches it).  I am sure there are some that use that feature but I bet most Windows users don't even know that is possible.  I didn't even know myself till a few years back after they implemented it.
