Google. When I had a less powerful PC, my homepage used to be the blank one, to start the browser faster.
But currently, I don't even start from the homepage, as I keep three browser windows with tens tabs open and I restore the session when I restart PC and browser. I must trim the number of tabs, though, as they start being too many and slowing my PC... The problem is that even divided in folders, my bookmarks file is too crowded and even saving their URLs before closing them, newer pages tend to get lost amongst the older ones...

Fast loading and if I want my news then I click on news or gmail for my mail.  My internet connection is decent but I still want an uncluttered homepage.  Also, I never really liked the side search bars that much for some reason.  I'd rather just use a whole tab instead.

Wow, I'm surprised. I thought I'd be the only one that yahoo as the homepage for news articles.

Do you spend about 1-3 hours a day commenting on yahoo news articles?  There are some funny comments on there sometimes but usually it is loaded with crap comments.
