Forums - Politics - 2nd debate, who won? Obama or Romney?

Who won the 2nd debate?

President Barack Obama 299 57.72%

Governor MItt Romney 149 28.76%

Nobody/tie 70 13.51%

Total:518

What is interesting is watching the green/yellow lines on cnn. As soon as they attack the other guy, the lines drop to zero. What is also interesting that the lines go high up if they just say "pretty stuff" (almost 95% of the questions weren't even addressed by the two guys). Just endless repetitions of election slogans, particularly by Romney.

Obama clearly won. He beat Romney, even on the Libya issue.

Add me! :)

Ill call this one a draw simply because neither one of them realky had any kind of debate.

They litteraly spent the entire time either trying to bash one another or just spit out random political BS that was either a lie or just some crap their advisors told them to say.

They were both equally horrible

I agree ben

Romney blinks a lot, he also smiles a lot.

A good thing? Hmmm...

Frequent blinking indicates deception. (or dry eyes)

I have yet to watch this, but when I'm hearing conservatives say that it was a draw, I'm pretty confident I'll be watching Obama win by a considerable margin when I get around to it.

The CNN tracker of approval rating at the moment by undecided voters was funny. Every time the speaker insulted the other candidate approval dropped substantially. It seems obvious to me that most people care more about what they will do at this point more than seeing more slamming of each other.

Mitt definitely is an aggressive guy as compared to Obama and I do not like it.

I loved when Obama pointed out Romney has continually invested in companies bringing jobs over seas when they talked about China.

I wonder what the actual timekeeping was for the debate. Seemed like Obama had a bit more time.

It was a good debate for Obama, but bad for civility and debating actual issues instead of campaign slogans.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

It was about 44 minutes to 40, in Obama's favor.

It was mostly even with Obama having about two minutes  more by the end.

Obama talks slower than Romney and weighs his speech more. I bet Romney says a little more each minute.
