Wow... did I just hear Wolf Blitzer saying:
"There are about 8% more republicans in this poll than in our usual poll"
while CNN showed Obama 46% vs Romney 39% winning the debate in the background.
Then Blitzer's conclusion was "So this is basically a draw!".
Is this guy mathematically challenged or just stupid?

well, it is a scientific poll of DEBATE WATCHERS.  People that watch debates are not going to have the same demographics as a typical registered voter demographic.  For the intents of the poll, there is nothing wrong here.  It is just that greater percentage of republicans watch the debates.  Since old people skew republican, it isn't that hard to get...

I think you don't get it either. Romney got 39% of the votes, Obama 46%. There were 8% MORE republicans than usual in the voters sample. So Romey got MORE votes than with a random sample of voters. He still LOSES 39 to 46. There is no conceivable way why Blitzer added those 8% more republican voters to the poll result and declares it a draw (apparently he got to 46 vs 47 with thi weird math idea).

All those polls are useless. You simply will not know until election day when the real results are in.

me, a republican?

What?

I didn't say crazy republican. I said crazy republicans all think the worst" soo, I was just saying Republicans hate Obama. I wasn't calling you a crazy republican.

Maybe it just went over your head.

oh. i didnt think it was something that needed a reponse. of course republicans dotn like obama. You call them crazy. i disagree with that.

and im glad you arent calling me a crazy republican.

I'm making a reference to the obama transcript.

I said a statement, and then a statement right afterward. You thought I was referring to you because of the previous statement, because that is how English works. In much teh same way, Obama referred to the attack as an act of terror using basic English language that you yourself interpreted correctly the first time when you thought I called you a republican.

I don't think Blitzer was adding in that 8%.  I think he was just commenting on the results of 46 to 39.  The first time they revealed the numbers, he said the same thing before he even had the numbers about the 8% more republicans.  You are just reading into something that isn't there.

Oh here's something BIg. Candy Crowly just admitted she was WRONG. in correcting Romney. She admitted that.

I know accept your apologies.

But she didn't, I just saw the video, she said she knows the quote and though eh didn't specifically refer to it as exactly saying "this was an act of terror", republicans are going to try to parse the meaning of what he said....which is exactly what you're doing.

I am glad Candy called him out on lies because lies like this are wrong.
