I did not preorder the Wii U fast enough and since then I have been hawking the net for weeks trying for a chance to get a preorder on it. Is there going to be another shipment or am I screwed for the next 6 months.

I read somewhere that the Wii you will have a few million systems available at or near launch. If that's the case, you may actually not have a problem finding one. Heck, with that many consoles, we may be faced with a situation like the PS3 where there's plenty of unsold hardware for a while. I've already 100% paid mine off and I'm not in the market to capitalize on any shortages by selling mine for a profit so I hope this is the case. I think everybody that wants one should be able to get one.

didnt walmart just announce starting sunday you can preorder via in store?

Yeah heard this too from a couple of other sites.  Apparently the way it works is that your pre-order is like a "lay-away", where you pay a 10% deposit up front (so like $30-$35 depending on which SKU you get), but then you have to pay the balance off in increments instead of all at once when you pick the console up in order to keep your pre-order since they treat it as a lay-away, though I'm not sure how this works or how often you have to pay.

Also, these bundles are not for launch... you won't get to pick them up until Dec, the14th I think.
