My wife has hit me a few times the last couple of weeks without me retaliating but I definitely looked at her and said "You better watch it before you get the fucking backhand" and she knows I'm right and stops the physical conflicts. Before we got married she said she was in support of women getting hit in cases of them instigating the violence.

The people saying the woman should have been treated different are really sad. I bet they also say equal rights for sexes... My lesbian friend is ashamed of the contradictory attitudes of feminists and knows women will never be equal to men because the mentality of things like this situation (Along with the draft). I have NEVER hit a women, but I tell you what everyone has their limit as to how far they can be pushed. You dont hit a man in the face plain and simple, once she swung and hit him there were no "sex" lines. It wasnt man vs women, it was human vs human. She learned a lesson the only way she was gonna be taught one, by getting her shit split open!

they don't get away with anything, a woman hitting a man is almost certainly not going to have the same effect on the man as if he hit the woman, if you can't work that out then frankly I suggest you need to go back to school and listen this time.

Bold: Blatantly untrue, there are many, many cases of women getting lighter sentences than men for the same or similar crimes. It is absurd, but it happens, so it's a legitimate example.

Someone's strength alone doesn't determine how hard they hit someone. What if a guy held back and only hit a woman with the force that said woman could apply herself?  You don't seem to have a problem with her hitting/shoving the guy, so what if he hit/shoved her back with the same force? By your logic that would make it okay.

frankly I think violence is wrong in any situation, but women generally aren't going to cause the same amount of pain as men are by doing so which is relevant in terms of understanding situations and punishment etc.
