@Curl - You don't even need to look at men vs women to see thats untrue. You can look at black vs white... as young vs old too.

rory all I'm getting from you is that women aren't equal therefor they shouldnt have the same rights such as jobs or pay... a woman shouldnt be a police officer nor firefighter and she certainly shouldnt be recieving 20 dollars per hour to hold a construction sign.
Also you claim women wont do as much damage as a man... to that I say "Is that really an argument?" If they think they can stand up and hold their own with a man and hit the man first then by all means lets see if their theory holds up. If they don't think that... well then maybe they should treat the man the same way the expect to be treated

didn't say that at any stage...but whatever.
you have to consider context and relative things, but I don't see why they aren't capable of doing those things. I also said nothing about rights or pay either, they should get paid the same.
Oh I get it... they should be treated as equals except in the cases where they arent equal... I gotcha...

bold: prove it then? I am not aware of this at all. frankly I think violence is wrong in any situation, but women generally aren't going to cause the same amount of pain as men are by doing so which is relevant in terms of understanding situations and punishment etc. |

Italic: Then it should be assessed purely on the amount of injury caused, regardless of gender. A lot of the time it is. But when a mild slap causing no serious injury happens between two people of different genders, it's percieved vastly differently depending on who's the one getting slapped, and it shouldn't be. This notion of automatically treating women like victims actually demeans women by belittling them.
"I don't see why they aren't capable of doing those things"
I dont see why they arent capable of finishing a fight they started...
