I guess it means you would now be able to browse the PSN Store on your PC and Mobile phones/tablets?
Anyone know what the current PS Store uses?

... If I were blind how would I be able to say "Eww" in the first place? And I don't think the original one is ugly at all, I think it looks nice. And yeah, maybe it's hard to find some content, but I ALWAYS know what I'm after, every Wednesday I go to google and type in "Head up game store update [Date]" Where obviously [Date] is the date... and take a look at everything they've added that week, if there's something I like, I'll go straight onto the store and buy it, if there's nothing I want, I don't use it, simple as that. I don't just go onto it without having SOME idea of what I want to buy first, that's like walking into a shop and not knowing what you want or why you're even in there... |
Well with the new update, hopefully you won't need google. Maybe you can just launch the PS Store and go into the "What's New" section....
The current one may not be ugly, but its not anything special. It is plain. It's all about aesthetics. We need eye candy.

Any browser can run the new Store... think a little more in the possibilities.

The actual store is an app for PS3's OS like games, Net Flix, etc... not web based.
The new is web based... any browser with HTML5 support can run it.

You get off on making these condescending post, don't you?
OT: It looks very nice and shiny. I've never had a problem with the current PSN, both functionality and looks, so this can only be better for me.

and getting tones of people raging out of their minds because they spend money on themes for the XMB... a change in XMB and keeping the themes working its prety hard if you think about it...
@ OP
it does look better and hope it performs better...

Proudest Platinums - BF: Bad Company, Killzone 2 , Battlefield 3 and GTA4
hmm... interesting.
not sure how i feel about it right now as i actually liked the current store a lot and found it easy(ish). this seems very dark BUT il wait till i play with it ;)
I love it; hated the old ps store. And, I agree with everyone mentioning that it looks like metro. I'm liking the left side pop in though for categories. As long as a product looks shiny, people will pay for it, and hopefully this helps sales for the ps store.
All of this, of course, is just my opinion.
Skyrim 100%'d. Dark Souls 100%'d.
Dark Souls > Skyrim.
Halo 4 is the best damn FPS since Halo 3.
Proud pre-orderer of 2 PS4's and an Xbox One.

Playstation 4: MGS V GZ, Killzone: Shadow Fall, NBA 2k14.

For the longest time the current store has been really good. With time came more options and categories, and today the store feels somewhat cluttered. It's good, but cluttered.
