I read half the article and it's very interesting. Nintendo can offer Miiverse as an alternative to facebook because they have the content and context to cater on (dedicated video games and interaction with the software).

Hopefully, Nintendo isn't crazy enough to not have passwords for each profile on the Wii U.

Thinking about it, I'd hate for a family member to have access to one of my social network profiles if I didn't want them to. It is the main reason I don't have social networks saved onto my cell phone with my passwords.
