I cannot read Comte, and I do not know much about games, but I feel Bravely will do better than what you all are saying. Famitsu almost gave it perfect scores and on their website it is talked about all the time!

Like Famitsu scores mean anything.

[NDS] Pokemon Platinum - 2,577,280
[NDS] Pokemon Black 2 / White 2 - 2.764.919

LTD sales

And the game keeps on rolling!

Platinum was a remake. B/W2 is a sequel. Totally different, you can't compare the two.

Sure you can. I mean, I heard people here compare mainline Resident Evils with spinoffs!

But the post was to show how it was a good decision, instead of the tradicional third game. Week to week.

Week 15 BW2 - 2.764.919

Week 15 Platinum - 2,002,576

700k pays the extra work they had imo, and them some more. It shows it was a nice choice, better than a 3rd version. For fans and for Nintendo

To the Japanese they must. Right?

If they did, every perfect or near perfect game reviewed would have been selling much better than they have.

You're on fire! :D

You may or may not trust famitsu reviews (I don't) but they influence sales, that's a known fact. But maybe someone here from J-chartz can answer by how much. Surely it means "something"

Plus Black/White 2 will just be entering it's first holiday, while previous Pokemon games by this point had already passed it.

And we can compare a spinoff game in a new system with a main game on  a system that has a fanbase for the main game to say that the new system is not a gamers system. Brilliant. You don't like the 3DS, we get it.

Well we will see what we will see. This would be the first time in a while that I am wrong with a prediction so it is time. I am saying close to 200,000 so anything over 150,000 will be close enough. What are you saying?

First week? Probably a bit over 100k. Maybe releasing with a new color will help it a little, who knows.

Coming from the guy who just one hour ago used a sales comparison between a mainline game and a spinoff (1) as justification for why the 3DS isn't attracting gamers.

Btw, the Vita userbase is mostly casual as well, because no single game sold to the majority of the installed base (2).

(1) I don't see how Revelations is a spin-off (aren't the "mainline" episodes already different from each other?), but I'm not familiar with Resident Evil so I must be wrong. Btw Racoon City also outsold Revelations, and the reviews were even worse than RE6.

(2) Vita doesn't have Mario games annihilating the competition.

I haven't played much of RE:R apart from the demo, but the only thing not mainline about it is that it doesn't have a number in the title. Other than that it's pretty much the same RE I played in REmake and RE4.

It was a crime at how little that game has sold. Hopefully it will continue with the legs. But it is reminding me of GTA: China Town Wars on the DS with its sales.

Yeah, it really is a great game.  I wish it did better too.
