Another game that I want to get for my 3DS (now XL). This thing is going to make me broke.

If you're having frame rate issues, kill 3D--it won't fix it 100%, especially when the camera is zoomed out, but it does mitigate it.

It's an ARPG, with the emphasis on the A--think Final Fight with stat-building, gear, and a limited shop.

I experience the downside of being a 3DS owner than doesn't really like Nintendo games very much. Naz is the only other I know that I talk to frequently.

Just finished the game yesterday. Loved it. The story is cheesy, but enjoyable. The real strength of the game lies in the gameplay. The final boss was a final boss, wasn't that hard, but did give me a challenge. Of course I haven't beaten all the bonus quests and co-op quests yet. This game has a lot of content by the way.

Nice to hear - will probably buy this soon, maybe early next month - really waiting for 3DS to go download only, but some games I just want to play.

It's very niche and there is no marketing whatsoever. If word of mouth goes around, it might do as well as Japan. I'll be surprised (and very happy) if this reaches the same levels as Japan.
