This year has been very dissapointing all around and it leaves me wondering what games will be nominated this year for GOTY at the VGA awards. The only games that comes to mind for me is Halo 4 and Dishonored, maybe Assassin's Creed 3 and Far Cry 3 f they prove to be good. Anyways, any predictions?

If I was betting I'd say Halo 4 or DayZ (standalone).

Mass Effect 3 (ironically, this will also be nominated for "Biggest Disappointment" by the fans)
Journey (this is my prediction for Game of the Year)
Halo 4 (unless it doesn't live up to expectations)
Xenoblade Chronicles (US critics only)
Assassin's Creed III (unless it doesn't live up to expectations)
Borderlands 2 (it currently has "universal acclaim" on Metacritic)

Every year that a Halo game comes out it's the game of the year for me. I never agree with the VGA winners. Unless 343i has been fooling us with all their awesome footage of Halo 4 I think I know what the game of the year will be for 2012.

Well the first 3 episodes have all been awesome... if 4 and 5 are as good it'll be tough to beat.
