well given current pacing.. PS9 would be around in 2036 or so.. it's really not all that far away.
I doubt it, by then we should be beyond consoles, desktop computers, and all that, everything will be integrated into your house and accesible over the internet.
Atleast thats what it should be like if we dont all die in 2012 like the Mayans say/said.
My prediction: Sony will be out of videogame business before Playstation 6.

I remember those commercials but i doubt it will be anything like the commercial.
There won't be a playstation9.
the playstation name would just get repetitive after PS4. and plus, PS5, PS6, etc just look plain weird.. >_

Whatever, the world would of changed to much for there to still be your normal home console like that, besides anything can happen to the company from now till then.
