Forums - Gaming - Lumia 920 vs Iphone 5 Video recording with image stabilization.

I must say, the Lumia certainly destroyed the iPhone 5, the picture quality was more vibrant as well as having the extra image stabilization

it looks pretty unnatural, the grass is waay too green for a grey day - I can see why people would prefer the oversaturated and oversharpened lumia video to the blurry iphone video (because so do I), but to "destroy" the iPhone it would have to win with more natural settings imo

Lumia White balance is off... it's auto correction is overdoing it... the colors may not look as nice on the iPhone 5 but at least they stay the same..

I would have considered the Lumia 920 if it weren't for its size, it's just too big and too heavy. Picked up an iPhone 5 last Friday and I'm loving it so far. As far as the camera goes, if I really needed a good camera I wouldn't be using one off a phone. [any phone]

The same reason here, too big and heavy. But still I'm not getting an iphone for that.

I'm not crazy about the size and heft of the Lumia (nor its wireless charging, which adds to both) but the phone looks to be a beast. I hope it catapults Windows Phone back into the race... that OS deserves it (even though MS has spent the past decade bumbling through the mobile space).

We need a third competitor in this race.

In many ways the new Nokia 920 is better than Iphone 5. But sadly Iphone will sell more copies:(

Well, that's probably because in many ways, the iPhone 5 is better than the Lumia 920.

I never thought this was possible, but Nokia has one of the most advanced phones on the market. It is head to head with Galaxy S3 and iPhone 5. And yeah, the camera is the best one on the market. I never thought they would deliver such a high quality and modern product ever again.

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

Just interested how?

Not flaming.

Tech wise Lumia 920 beats Iphone 5. Camera, Display, charging etc.

OS is opinion. I prefer better facebook, twitter, email client etc intergration than what Iphone has with 5. It doesnt even match wp7.5 mango.

App dont worry me. Marketplace has now got equivalant or better in metro form of all of Iphones best apps.

The iPhone definitely has the advantage in weight/size, CPU (no way is the Lumia going to beat the iPhone with a dual core Snapdragon S4 & 1GB of RAM), possibly (maybe even probably) battery life. Don't get me wrong, the Lumia looks to be a hell of a phone. I like what Nokia has been doing in the past 18 months with WP. You can argue that the iPhone display is just as good as the Lumia; it depends on what you want in a phone. For me, I don't really want a 4.5" phone (not a deal-breaker entirely, but I wouldn't go even 1/10th of an inch larger than that). Tech-wise, the two displays are a wash IMO.

But while the App Store might not be important to you, it's absolutely superior on the iPhone. The Windows Store and App Store aren't even close in comparison. If there's a good app in the Windows Store, there's about a 99% chance it's in the App Store. The reverse is not necessarily the case.
