people keep saying this but o just don't get it. How significant is a disc tray? Unless you constantly change discs, then the difference between the loading systems are virtually nonexistent. So you'll go through a few seconds of annoyance when exchanging discs; is that really a big deal?

It's selling very well, which is something I expected to see. I wonder if they'll run any black friday deals on the old 160GB model to clear out all the leftover stock.

I think that the upcoming AC3 bundle is the better deal, though.. For only $30 more you're getting the HDD doubled in size, and a big AAA game that hasn't already been out for a year. I'll easily take the memory and new game.

It's a big enough deal that I will probably pass on it while I live in my current envornment. It means I have no place to put it.

Being non fuctional is a big deal.  Even the old inexpesnive Wii has a slot loader - it seems like a very silly move on Sony's part.  I realize it will not effect everyone, but why risk losing a significant portion of your target audience. 

While I like the idea of digital downloads - when you can get a disk game for 10% of the price, it's hard to ignore the value.



 

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.
