It's a big enough deal that I will probably pass on it while I live in my current envornment. It means I have no place to put it.
Being non fuctional is a big deal. Even the old inexpesnive Wii has a slot loader - it seems like a very silly move on Sony's part. I realize it will not effect everyone, but why risk losing a significant portion of your target audience.
While I like the idea of digital downloads - when you can get a disk game for 10% of the price, it's hard to ignore the value.
