Does it come pre-installed these days? I have no point of reference because it's not on my phatty PS3.

I don't think it was pre-installed on the older models.  My friend has a fat PS3 and I tried to download Home once.  Since it was going to take forever to download I think we just gave up on it.

It is quite a big install.  I had to do it manually like I mentioned (wasn't really worth it either, although I do pop on from time to time).

What I was meaning was, is it automatically installed on the Slim / NewSlim models?  Makes sense I guess, I just had no idea :P

I was mainly just trying to back up your claims that it wasn't on the old systems.  It would be a lot smarter to just put it on the new systems to save time for the people that want to try it out instead of having them download it.

The problem with putting it pre-installed is it comes in 3 flavours.

3GB
5GB
8GB

The question is knowing what people want. With the new (oh so stupid) 12GB systems, that's almost all your allocation gone in a flash. So it's best to let people do it themselves.

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

Xbox One: What are you doing Dave?

It would be smart for PS3 to have some sort of Home 2.0 integration already running on the background on the PS4 like a wall paper.

I'm talking about here on VGChartz, if you come to here regularly and don't know what PSHome is then you probably need to rethink your interest in gaming.

I was initially joking but...

rethink my interest in gaming? What does "rethink" mean? How does a person go about rethinking their interest?

Am I the only one having difficulty understanding this sentence?

My innitial wording was clumsy, what I mean is Home is at least base knowledge of what the ps3 has to offer, the most intermidiate of gamers should know what it is.

It's funny that there's a (maybe 2 depending because of the 20GB unit at launch) model of the PS3 that can't play DC Universe (takes up 17GB last I checked).

4 ≈ One

Intermediate gamer...i like that. I think that's what i'll call myself for now on.

Ops i think i meant, for the PS4 if they can have Home 2.0 running in the background of the main UI would be convenient. So if u dont want to bother with u can ignore it but if u want to jump in u can press PS button or something. That way the integration would be faster, everyone will be able to use it effortlessly.

It would be even cooler if they develop some sort real MMORPG out of it as well; with different planet or places to explore that are inspired by different franchise w/ monsters to fight, quest to do, and things to level up and trophies to obtain!
