DICE was the developer on this game, so I doubt it'll be revived.

They're working on Battlefield now. I guess it won't happen until the fps craze wears off.
I see they also made Mirror's edge, I guess that rules out a sequel to that too :(

That's an apt analogy. I really wish Microsoft would invest something into those Rare games. A proper Banjo-Kazooie sequel is among my most wanted sequels, along with Beyond Good & Evil 2, and The Last Guardian (which I suppose is more of a spiritual sequel).
