*i dont like snake in brawl just cause of how he looks (and to a lesser extent, link).  he is approaching a more realistic style which is absolutely not nintendo.  nintendo should keep to its strengths for art and make clean characters which dont depend on high def graphics.  they are good at that and it clearly shows in brawl.  sonic was a great choice and fits in perfectly.

i also dont like that they are putting so much shiny in the characters.  takes away from that nintendo style.

Well, it doesn't necessarily have to be a KH character.  It could be Cloud or somebody else from one of SE's many franchises.

No thank you for Sora or Cloud. Loved both their games, but they need to stay out of the Nintendo universe. Seems too cheesy, like some kind of bad fan fic. Actually, now that I think about it, this whole game seems like some kind of bad fan fic :(

Now if it were Megaman or Bomberman, then we'd be getting somewhere.

Snake didn't originate on the NES...MG was on the MSX first. He's had little to do with Nintendo at all for the past few years.

I doubt Sora would make it in but it wouldn't be the end of the universe, all the Sony hating whores need to deal with that, especially the very real possibility that KH3 might be for Wii. Mickey and co. would nevwr make it in though considering that one of the requirements was that the character had to have originated from a video game.

I think 2 types of characters are okay for SSB:

a) Any Nintendo character
and
b) CLASSIC 3rd party characters with a tie in to Nintendo
Of course, classic is the key word there. Hence, Simon Belmont, Megaman, etc, would be okay. While Sora, Kratos, and the other idiotic suggestions people put forth would not.

When rumors were poping up about Sonic coming to SSBB, there were a few that said that Mega Man would also be in the game. Would have been cool, but oh well.
