That's an interesting thought.  I wonder if Sony might have reworked the title, not unlike how Platinum games made 'Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance' something altogether different.

Unnecessary.  A few weeks ago they re-confirmed it was still very much alive.  Probably in the process of getting moved over to PS4 as a launch title.

Wouldn't that be preferable to the game being canceled, if you had to choose between the two?

OT: I think we will see at TGS for a 2013 release. At least, I HOPE we will see it there.

Yes. I think Sony will force them to have something ready to show, even if that is just a brief trailer, so that people know it's still alive (as was confirmed back at E3). But it won't be out until 2013 at the very earliest.

I think it'll be a PS4 launch title. The same thing happened with ICO and PS2...

That's a very good example.  ICO ran into limitations of the PSone that wouldn't allow their creative vision to be possible on that system.  It's possible the 'Guardian' ran into its own technical road blocks on the PS3.  If this is the case, we won't be seeing this game on store shelves for at least 1-2 years.

Don't by silly. PS3 is future proof.
