Halo 4 developer 343 Industries is searching for staff to "help create the current and next generation of game visuals in the Halo universe", hinting that work could already have begun on a Halo game for the next Xbox.
"We are looking for an experienced graphics developer to help us deliver cutting edge graphics technologies for AAA experiences," reads the Microsoft job ad.
Th spec includes working on "current and next generation of game visuals in the Halo universe."
"Work on one of the most exciting and creative properties in the industry; Work with the incredible 343 team to help drive the future of Halo," adds the job spec.
Candidates will also be expected to get "up to speed quickly with the current rendering and shading architecture, supporting current efforts and future investigations," whileexperience Xbox 360 and DirectX 11 experience is also considered favourable.
Halo 4 was announced way back at E3 2011 as the first part in the new 'Reclaimer Trilogy'. Little is known about Halo 5 and Halo 6, but we wouldn't be surprised to see a Halo 4 sequel help launch a new Xbox at the end of 2013.
That's also when Activision was planning to launch sci-fi shooter Destiny for Xbox 360 and next-gen Xbox - from Halo creator Bungie.
