Eh, don't know what to think of it really. After having watched the trailer and getting a basic understanding of the story I immediately bought it. Perhaps I got a bit too excited because the game just didn't live up to my expectations.
It opened great and sucked me in from the very start but somewhere in the middle of the game it just went downhill and my excitement pretty much died. The lack of gameplay didn't annoy me as I knew what kind of game it was, which is why I really didn't understand the point of the puzzles between the timejumps. They weren't hard or anything, just annoying.
Instead, I wish the developer had spent some time giving the player a bigger role in uncovering the "mysteries" in game. As it is, the game pretty much order you to sit in a corner and shut up while the game plays itself. The part where the girl runs around doing all kinds of stuff while doing everything to assure you have absolutely no part in it is especially bad. I still want to strangle that bitch. You've reached a very emotional and climactic part of the story, and then a door slams in the face with the sign "I'm sorry but you're too stupid to follow this. See ya at the ending!". Hooray...
End of rant.
I think the story is great and the concept is fantastic. But the execution is lacking. The story has so much potential that it ultimately fails to live up to. Now, I don't dislike the game as much as it sounds like. Heck, I don't dislike it at all. It just failed to live up to itself and my stupidly high expectations.
