Two problems with this logic:

One - the (false) assuption that every game must have sold huge numbers for the same reason

Two - The total lack of explanation why this theory isn't consistant: Wii Music, Wii Motion Plus, Wii Party, Big Brain Academy: Wii Degree, Bomberman Land Wii, G1 Jockey Wii, Pokepark Wii, Etc., etc.

And even three: The comparible increase for other titles besides Mario Kart. IE: Mario Party 7 = 1.57m, Mario Party 8 = 7.86m - a 500% increase with no 'Wii' in the title.
