3d is not going to be mainstream without the real onset of glasses-free 3D display panels (autostereoscopic) into the core market.To make things worse there are many aspects of current 3D viewing that still poses health issues. Another reason why 3D puts me off is the reduction of the display's brightness and definition.

uhm.. to count the people that have 3DTVs you don't need to know how many don't own one, just sayin'

Yes! I was really looking for 3D experiences.

Seems, like many that have a 3D TV forget or don't use the feature very often.

But a few, love it, espically for movies, and at least one games on it.

While I agree it has a long way to go, and would much prefer a glasses less screen. When people say 3D or 4K, I think, "Why can't we have both?"

I actually think every 4KTV set will have some kind of stereoscopic 3D method.

I have a Vizio 42 inch 3D TV. I love to watch movies in 3D at home.

Ah, nice is that the 'Passive 3D' then?  And what is the Hertz? 120 or beter?  I was playing Halo: Anniversary tonight and thinking, wish I had a 3D tv. (read it in the voice when people don't get paid in gum in the commercial.)
