The DayZ mod for this will be glorious.

This will sell much more because of DayZ advertising Arma II so well.

I'm impressed. It looks like a more beautiful, much more polished ARMA II. I'm veyr happy to hear it'll run better as well. Just what DayZ needs xD

Summer 2012? It's out now?

Considering that ArmA II is still buggy as shit after 3 years of patches and Day Z is going standalone I see no reason to pick it up.

they still patch ArmA II weekly, and it's still broken. They have good intentions but their games are so ambitious, and of course they will say that the next game was better. I don't belive PR when it comes to this kind of thing. Bethesda said they had an all new engine and that the PS3 version was getting a lot of attention before release, and then it turns out that the engine is basically the same and the PS3 version is broken. PR will say anything to sell the game.

Have you ever played an ArmA BTW? I don't mind bugs if the game is great but ArmA isn't really my kind  of game, maybe if the singleplayer campaigns were actualy fun I would be interested. But a mil sim with a multiplayer focus that level of jank is enough for me to skip it. Now if the gameplay and setting was as good as S.T.A.L.K.E.R then I would be interested.

I'm not surprised there aren't any ArmA fans here, it's a niche hardcore military sim repackaged as a game. The people that do have it likely just got it for DayZ.
