In all seriousness. Just add some things to Frog Mario.

He swims better than the Penguin. Maybe he can climb walls too, like sticking to it. That would be cool

DO THE MARIO!!!!!!1111

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

GI covers always look good, best gaming mag out there bar none. Havent seen a Ninty game on the cover since Zelda last year, but i dont blame them for that

It averages to about 1 a year going back to 2010, but then you have to go back to 2006 to find the last time a Wii or DS game was on the cover (Red Steel)

Ive had a subscription for a long time so I know the stats, like i said I dont blame them, Ninty is very secretive unlike all the other publishers

i wonder how sales of all the different issues look like, because i would say they don't use so many nintendo related covers because they don't sell as good. i mean, if they would be so successful they would obviously use more of them wouldn't they? (if they can, not sure how nintendo handles that)

and to be honest, i see more people purchasing a cover with kratos as people purchasing a cover like this even as most popular character in videogame history. i could be wrong but i don't believe they use more covers for other consoles if thoses issues sell less then.

I dont think sales has anything to do with it. Since i would imagine that since they merged with gamestop most of their sales come from subscrition. I dont know where you live but I havent seen an issue of Game Informer available in a newstand or Target like store in years. Like i said they do covers based on whatever big game they are covering that month and since Ninty is so secretive all the time your going to be less likely to see one of their games grace the cover

You may think Yoshi just now became a stoner... but no. He always liked the weed

Here's Mario clearly taking him back to Rehab in 1991

Weed was merely a gateway drug for Yoshi.  He's always had a thing for psychedelics...

Seriously, even when Mario eats mushrooms he's not drawn with his eyes dilated and doesn't lose his balance.

Time to re-subscribe to GameInformer.

Cover looks good. Now, here's hoping the game is something fresh.

It is. It has a U in the title. That's as fresh as mario will get now adays.

Wait. I thought GI is a PS mag? When did Sony sell them?
