Is there a limit as to how much you can grind? These rules seem pointless if you can train as much as you want.

Grinding is allowed, but brings its own risks. You can be TOO overleveled and be unable to capture new Party members, can get hit by a Critical hit from a wild mon when you're least suspecting it, and can still be vulnerable to bosses, whose mons are strong enough to be a match even without grinding.

This isn't like a solo-Pokemon run, where you and your level 100 Blastoise can learn things the hard way occassionally. Every step of the journey contains risks, and grinding just adds more steps.

Rock pokemon against fighting type attack??? Rock types will get shattered!!! Ground types are your best bet, but this Raichu has body slam wich cause paralisis, Lt. Surge's Raichu got every corner covered to some degree.

Don't forget your party will be unruly when you grind them too high!

Mega Punch and Mega Kick are Normal type moves (yes, they sound like Fighting type moves, but nope).

Woops, I forgot that they used to be Normal types in red blue and yellow before they changed it after Gen2/3...
I feel so ashamed...

Did they?  Mega Punch at least is a normal Type move in Black/White.

Yea, I am pretty sure they didn't change Mega Punch at the very least

I just checked it out on Bulbapedia.net
Bloody hell, my Poke-knowlegde is slipping away from me... -_-'
