Forums - Microsoft - VG24/7: "Xbox 720 release delayed due poor processor quality – report"

How many different processors has had the nextbox according to rumors? 3-4?

Anyway, after reading the SemiAcurate article, it states that the problem is not the processor but the yields, two very different things, and that the problems were expected.

Good job, vg247! That's how a news should NOT be done.

The more interesting part is the rumor about the nextbox having a newer (maybe even better?) than expected GPU, one from the HD 7xxx family.

Please excuse my bad English.

Former gaming PC: i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070

Current gaming PC: R5-7600, 32GB RAM 6000MT/s (CL30) and a RX 9060XT 16GB

Interesting, let's hope they take there time and we don't see another RROD situation.
I doubt I will get the next xbox, I prefer Sony's first party support.

It failed to meet Microsoft's standard's for a console launch?

Given the Xbox360 fail standards that doesn't sound to good.

I kid because i care

This is the Game of Thrones

Yeah right,it's about yield, how OXMUK/VG247 make that mistake?it makes the title 100% wrong

Still nothing but a rumour and even if it was true it would probably be something that can be fixed in time.

I Agree.

And it's even worse because they know that not many people will click the link to read the original story. And not all of those who do it will know what the term yield means in this context.

It's easy to fool the ones than don't bother to learn what's what going on. They know it and take advantage from it.

SemiAccurate lol

how can something unannounced be delayed?

Anyway, I think this is some minor stuff people bring up. With every hardware release, there are difficulties, especially 18 months before release and every manufacturer in the world faces these issues. This is not something MS or anyone else were not expecting.

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

I would also recommend adding "rumor" to the title. People are complaining.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

This is a rumor right? Why isn't it labeled as such?
