BTW, you should title the thread "The Last of Us - Pax Demo - Proof that it's not scripted" instead of your usual "oh my god, this is amazing, fuck, etc etc". It doesn't do the video justice to use latter as it makes it seem like just another one of your usual videos, which it's not.


I like your suggestion, changed the title to that since all caps is bad anyway.

It's the hotel segment, only played differently.

There is kind of a surprise moment near the end, though.  Not a storyline surprise, but a "will make you jump" moment.  However, with how long until this game releases, almost everyone who watches this video will have forgotten about that by then.

yes. I'm on media blackout for it too but I made an exception because it's the same section. Don't watch it though. While it's FUCKING @W3S0M3, it's really different, and there's some parts that weren't in the first demo at all, so if you don't want to see anymore till it comes out don't watch.

It is almost the same demo, with different approaches, and more things happening after what the E3 demo showed. IT IS AMAZING!!!!!!

Between TLOU, GOW:Ascension, and Ground Zeroes (if releases in 2013); is GOTY 2013

i don't think gow will have a chance against some games we still don't know (for wii u and whatever other nextgen console we will see) and games like gta but the last of us should be one of the favourites for most goty awards if t will be as good as the demo.

The demo looks amazing, seriously this is my most hyped game right now.

About the scripted discussion: I think, as some other said in an old thread, that you can choose different paths to play the game, but every path has some little scripted events, like melee fights.

In conclusion, it's not totally scripted, just some events that keep the general ND's cinematic feeling.

The textures are blurry, the crouching animation is awful, the acting is horrendous. The water is miserable to look at. If you actually think this game looks good then you need to get checked if you're blind or not. I can find better looking/on par console games. Heck I think even uncharted looks better than this.
