Insomniac has 2 development teams

Some of it could boil down to efficiency/planning. It could take me years to code a game engine, but if I write it correctly, I should be able to go in and update parts of it without having to do a total rewrite. If they have an established library of simple objects (code) they could theoretically plug in bits of code and only work on things that need to be updated. Most game inventory systems can be pretty simple. You could almost use the same inventory system for every game ever made actually. If you constantly re-code this specific for one game, you might save yourself some time upfront, but you'll pay in having to re-code it for the next game. The same applies for many aspects from weapons to characters to AI.
It seems the mods need help with this forum. I have zero tolerance for trolling, platform criticism (Rule 4), and poster bad-mouthing (Rule 3.4) and you will be reported.

They cut off the body parts needed to work on the game and place them inside computer terminals and can do the work instantly while vital nutrients are supplied via liquid in the container holding the parts.

insomniac has one and a half teams. a core resistance, a core ratchet, and the rest float between. since they reuse the engine and only hire the best people, they can do a lot. being able to hire exactly who u want is a huge deal. |
wouldn't that be 2 and a half teams?

The Church of Freeman ![]()
All in all your just another brick in the wall.
It's called the devs love their job, and want to make the best game they can. They probibally have a good profit shareing system too, which, if I worked there, I would bust my BALLS to get in on that.
They really make me think of old-school game companies.
RARE, did not make all of those games. Alot of them were made by others, and published/assisted by RARE. So actually RARE isnt quite as impressive.
