I'm gonna get crucified for this, because I've been told its a bad idea, but I don't care. I still would like to see what it would turn out like.

I'd like to see a Legend of Zelda game set in modern time, the near future, or the distant future. Not with humans and whatnot, but with a society that is modern, hylian, and the old legends are regarded as just that, legends. Until an ancient evil returns. But its a thing where it would be a twist about halfway through the game. Ruined cities, ravaged by this evil ancient force that nobody can do anything about, until our hero stumbles upon a secret chamber in a museum or something, and the master sword is revealed. It would have this "OMFG ITS A ZELDA GAME" moment.

I'm describing it very poorly. But I think it would be an interesting direction for the series. Likewise if a sci-fi version were made. Its something completely different, and may not actually be good, but I'd like to see Nintendo branch out the setting a bit from traditional sword and sorcery.

I will join on the cucification cross. Those fake future Zelda images from a while back looked great and IMHO it would really light a fire in the series ass not seen since the series went 3d for the first time. But Ninty doesnt have the balls to do this

They had the balls to try Zelda on trains. Mixed results on that (i feel the biggest accomplishment of Spirit Tracks was really how they characterized Zelda, while the train element was just sort of there), but they did it.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

yeah they really pushed the boundaries with that one, i disagree, that was run of the mil to me and it was on a handheld, that doesnt take balls as it could be swept under the rug or just simply labeled as a handheld offshoot. Now a game in the future on a CONSOLE, that takes balls, hell Majora's Mask was the edgier and more risk taking that Spirits Tracks wish it could be

I just realized I don't want motion controls in the new Zelda, for one simple reason: Link is supposed to be LEFT handed!!!

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

I hope the new dungeons are more "open" like Forest Temple or Water Temple in OoT and less linear and predictable like Twilight Princess.

Proud to be the first cool Nintendo fan ever

Number ONE Zelda fan in the Universe

DKCTF didn't move consoles

Prediction: No Zelda HD for Wii U, quietly moved to the succesor

Predictions for Nintendo NX and Mobile

Hopefully they can make this great like OoT and Majora's were.

In order to do that they need to forget about big cutscenes, no sidekick (or almost inexistant), return the magic and put more items, build an explorable interconnected overworld and meaningful open dungeons with lot of keys needed to proceed...

Please, do this Nintendo. DO IT.

Whatever they end up doing, they need to put that spider as a boss in the game.

Please excuse my bad English.

Currently gaming on a PC with an i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070

Steam / Live / NNID : jonxiquet    Add me if you want, but I'm a single player gamer.

Hmm, I'll wait until I see something more concrete... Like Miyamoto showed off that art with sword and shield-less Link and Fi. =D
