Forums - Gaming - Operation Support Vita: Let Us Be Proactive About This Handheld

I have been reading alot of VIta Flop threads among this and various other sites.   Now I understand it is not doing very well, but I am an optimist and believe it will do close to the PSP (but will not surpass it).  Even though I am a bit hypocritical at the moment since I do not own a Vita myself... I just wanted a positive thread about the Vita for a change.

I fully intend to grab one after the first price cut and/or when memory goes down. I've never bought a console at launch price. I never had a PSP, and there are a bunch of those games I want to play, as well. I think I'm going to keep my dumb-phone and get a Vita instead.

I'm not concerned about it being "dead". It always kind of amuses me to hear that term used early in the life of a console.

I suggest picking it uo blqck friday with a bundle like assassins creed or lbp or what ever. You'll get it for $190 by logic since game is 40 and mem 20 but it might sell fo less or even throw in some games and memory cards maybe even cheaper. I know used 32gb mems here are 60 and im just waiting til someone trades it in, since over here is sony dominated, they get 32gb usually uzed for that price every week or so, and next one is on hold for me so it should be a good idea, even so all bundles unless stated are core vita prices sk they will always be saving you money and you'll get it for around 190

Better yet, let Sony be proactive about this handheld.

It has Uncharted.

...

On a serious note, I plan on buying a few titles in the next few months.

I love my PS Vita, I had PSP go in the past so i bought games for psp digitally and had a bunch of psone so im swimming in games as well as have alot of interest in alot of the previous and upcoming games this year.
Its capabilities are ridiculously good and underrated. I was on 8 man Party chat, taking pics sending my friends and talking with em about em, all of use were on youtube syncing (bootleg way lol). Talking bout the ff next gen tech demo. My friend was playing FFVII while I was Playing Crimson Gem Saga whike everyone else was in a party lobby in UMvC3 playing and whooping each other. While having stuff like twitter open

if it had a tv out and a decent multi container/codec video player I would buy a vita, but like this it's a bit "meh" to me, although I'm really looking forward to how tearaway turns out

If it does end up cheaper over the holidays then I'll re-evaluate.

Damn if that Assassin's Creed bundle doesn't look nice, though.  A white Vita, memory card, and the game for $250 isn't bad at all.

I am not going to turn pro-Vita, but since the NFL season starts this weekend I will stop hanging around the mall and talking people out of purchasing PSVs at weekends.

Sony and the Vita are saved. Problem solved.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

I plan on getting Persona 4 Golden, LBP Vita, Ragnarok Odyssey, and AC3:L by the end of this year. I think that is more than enough for me. The only problem is what's up for next year.
