I don't trust VGC polls, but it is concerning.

The thing is, more people are going to come in and vote the "not doing well" option when they receive a moderation, or even just "for a laugh". It's pretty obvious that it's not 50% of the site who have an issue with the mod team, after all.

Dont mock someone whether it be a mod or not.  It was justifiable.  I get tired of the subtle attacks on this site and honestly they should be moderated.  People arent dumb.  Be respectful and drop the not so subtle jabs

Me telling starcraft that he knows best sarcastically is worse than him charactarizing half the users in that thread as pervs? Tell me which one of us deserves the moderation. Holy shit if I said that "starcraft is so smart" sarcastically then you guys would actually have a case. Because then I would be taking a jab at his intelligence. However I did not do that. I did not insult him. I just made it apparent that I think his statement of us being pervs was extremely absurd. That's what it was I was pointing out how ridiculous it is of him to assume that everyone interested in this scandal is a perv. Do I deserve a ban if I respond to someone saying that all republicans are idiots with "wow you know best" sarcastically? Because it's basically the same thing.

Also I took another look at that thread and it reinforced the idea that starcraft was biased against everyone who was on the side of the argument. I mean he banned a guy for 10 fucking days for calling that woman a bitch. 

1. Lets be honest, what you said was not a joke.  It was a subtle jab because you disagreed with him.  Could you have disagreed with him in a more respectful way?  Why yes you could have.

What do you mean it's not a joke? If it's not a joke then I truly believe that starcraft knows best. I don't think he knows best I think that his statement was absurd. I can express my disagreement any way I want as long as it doesn't cross the line. The fact that it wasn't the most "respectful way" does not make it ban worthy. Not in the slightest.

2.  Dont call someone a bitch.  Bans are based off progession, not action btw.  SO unless they skipped the 1 day, 3 day, 5 day, and 7 day ban, then i wouldnt complain about 10 days

He called a girl that cheated on her boyfriend with 5 guys a bitch. so... If we disallow insults (well placed insult might I add) then no one should be able to call Phil Fish a dick or an asshole. No one should be able to call anyone misogynistic or sexist. You shouldn't be allowed to call me disrespectful.. well you get the picture.

Since the ban was overturned I can conclude that starcraft fucked up on that one as well

I definitely agree with moderating sexism. The guy that called her a filthy whore and asked for her email completely deserves a ban for example.

starcraft said "What it is, is an excuse for the perves of the internet to try to insert themselves without merit into the sex life of a woman." I do not appreciate him saying that I along with others are using this as an excuse to insert ourselves into her sex life and that we were pervs.
