More racing games that are good this time around as well.

Definitely. I'm currently working my way through Test drive: Ferrari racing legends just to see some different tracks for a change.
But the input lag, the wonky physics and horrible AI opponents try to sap the fun out of it.
Please let Forza horizon be good, I don't think I want another F1 game with mostly the same tracks I've been driving on for the past 20 years.

For games I'm looking for escapism, total immersion. The best games make time slow down. I hate games where you feel like you've just started going and it's 3am all of a sudden (yeah you Skyrim. In hindsight it's just addiction, not actually fun after the first 10 hours)

I want what I've wanted for many years. More Final Fantasy Tactics. The game is one of my favorites of forever, and I know I'm not alone in that, so why is it a franchise that has been forgotten? People still buy the dozens of versions of the original today. On a related note, another Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes, or tactical games in that same mold. I like turn based games where you have to think about your next move.

I also want more open world FPS games like Fallout 3. At least Borderlands 2 is coming.

....
Legend of Dragoon 2. Whenever I think of Sony, this always dominates my thoughts. I'd spend a lot of money just to play a sequel to that game. Definitely $400 or more.

Shenmue (2013,2014 or 2015). That game was revolutionary in my eyes and was one of the few things I've ever been hyped for that met all my expectations. If an HD entry ever released I'd buy everything for it; strategy guide, DLC, and whatever pre-order bonus they provide.

Only needing to buy one console to get my gaming experiences.

An HD Starfox...or a Zelda that is better than Ocarina of Time.

A game like Custom Robo. The customization aspect mainly; the gameplay was really rough on the Gamecube. In general, I have not really played ANY game featuring robots with exceptional gameplay. A Gundam/Smash Bros? type game would be pretty cool.

My dream game is Fire Emblem with the customization features established in the series, with the same strategy element. However when choosing to attack, the ability to fight like in Shenmue during the 3D encounter would be unbelievable. No different than being able to fight in a 3D realm somehow in a Pokemon game. A 3D swordfight or COD Sniper Rifle type arrow shooting attempt would change the game.

Yugioh with 3D models of every card on the board.

Gimme a console with all this lol

Leatherhat on July 6th, 2012 3pm. Vita sales:"3 mil for COD 2 mil for AC. Maybe more. "  thehusbo on July 6th, 2012 5pm. Vita sales:"5 mil for COD 2.2 mil for AC."

I want Chrono Resurrection.

I want to be surprised by exciting new experiences but at the same time, I want the games to stay exactly the same as they've always been when I first fell in love with them.

I feel like the last sentence in the OP is sarcasm.

I always wanted a FFT where you could make a character like in soulcalibur v!

Console JRPGs with with random battles and turn based goodness. Along with an explorable world map. I want old school RPGs with modern game technology and graphics. Is that too much for a gamer to ask for?

I am the black sheep     "of course I'm crazy, but that doesn't mean I'm wrong."-Robert Anton Wilson

I would say new IP´s have priority for me. Games like Watch_Dogs, Dishonored or The Last of Us.
