I guess no more motion control in Zelda then

Nintendo has been pretty adamant that controls in major console Zelda games in the forseeable future will be based on the foundation laid out in Skyward Sword. They know that there were many other factors at play in SS's sales.

I'm a massive zelda fan and still haven't bought it. I wasn't impressed by some of the things I saw (no cohesive overworld) and other games took priority last winter, mainly Skyrim...
Instead I've decided to buy it when I get my wii U, alongside mario galaxy 2 and pikmin 3.

The overworld is completely connected. Functionally there is virtually no difference between going up to the sky to drop down into a different area and going through a hub area like Hyrule Field. The disconnect exists only in your mind.
Since you can go up from and drop down to a number of different points, the sky also functions as a sort of fast-travel -- you can go up and immediately drop back down into another area of the region you were already in. It takes a bit longer than playing a tune on your ocarina, but the drop points are much more useful than, say, warping into the middle of the Fire Temple or the Forest Meadow.

Cohesive is probably not the word i should have used. But from looks alone, the sky mechanic removes a sense of adventure. Its doesn't look anywhere as engaging as transversing hyrule by foot/horse back or even by boat like in Wind Waker. Many of my favourite past times in previous Zelda games have actually been the sections between temples, and the more linear means of travel doesn't sound like it will enhance those sections.
Anyway, thats just one a few things which put me off the game, the second being the FPS sections but I'm sure I'll love the game regardless. Just waiting for a Wii U launch date and price now
Next Zelda gotta be a game that you can play either with the gamepad for classic-touch-enhanced control, and with wiimote, for Skyward Sword control.
You could engage in assymetric co-op to beat the game, or play all by yourself, of course the game is different depending the method you choose to play.
BAM! Both audiences satisfied. And you get kinda 2 games in one.

again with this? its like making two games in one as it will need two sets of AI to react to either buttons or swings of the player

uncharted series undertracked by 2.5million+
I think it's way undertracked too.
Even if the 3.5m number by Nintendo is shipped only, I really don't believe there are still 200k units sitting on shelves somewhere still from the very first pressing, on top of that I also don't believe the stock supposedly hasn't been supplemented in almost a year. The game definately sold over 3.5m by now.
I do believe Ocarina of Time 3D does better though, it should overtake Skyward Sword in the long run. Indeed sad to see it didn't do more, would have hoped it could do 5m. It was kind of expected though, Majora's Mask also sold mediocre compared to it's predecessor and it was in the exact same situation as Skyward Sword.

FPS sections?
There are no FPS sections. The only thing remotely FPS is the fact you can move with the bow & arrow instead of remaining stationary.
