Forums - Nintendo - Wii U To Be $200 And Launch November 18th?

As a consumer, I know this sounds stupid coming from me, but $200 is too low.

$250 at least.

Rumors, rumors, rumors...

I don't see it, minimum price I expect is 249, and being very generous. Things will go between 299, and 349.

A lot of people seem to forget that Nintendo wanted the Wii to be $99 at launch. They are all about Low prices and said this one will be a pleasant surprise. That will indeed be pleasant if it is true.

That's insane! First release a 3DS for $250 and later a new home console for $200?

I... Won't get too exited just yet... To be on the safe side.

Thats damn low, thats less than what i bought the Vita for. But if they are selling it for that much and NOT at a loss. Im inclined to believe that the specs aren't nearly as impressive as some people lead on. Or we can have a similar situation to Wii, the specs are decent for the console, but they had to make some sacrifices on the controller, but maybe they will sell this for a loss. I'll bite if its that much, not at launch because the only games that dont look meh to me are the ones i have are will have on PS3or PC

I don't see this happening...

That would be an incredible launch price. However I expect $250 as a launch price.

I really don't see how. If anything, Nintendo might up the ante past what some of us will find acceptable because they want to actually make money on the consoles sold in North America and Europe.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

$200 ??? No way. The thing is as powerful as a PS3/360 and has an extra TABLET in addition. $300 or possibly $350 is my guess. Nintendo seems to be wanting to get away from being so focused on casual games, which would imply that they would have a console that is more expensive having hard or mediumcore games will require more processing power and therefore a more expensive console.

No way...
