He looks at, and he has more, he can have certainty that this generation (Wii, PS3 and Xbox 360) finishes in 2010, in my opinion Nintendo and Microsoft will launch its new consoles in 2010. Think… about 2010 Xbox 360 already will be completing 5 years of existence, and Wii is not capable of a race of more than what 4 years… the hardware does not allow still more… that Sony already declared that the PS3 must go up to 2013/2014… that is, Sony does not have the minimum condition to launch a console in 2010 or 2011 even though.

Afaik the GC was not half was powerful as the xbox, some say just as powerful.  I cant be bothered looking at your other numbers because that first result is wrong (thats how it works in the real world, find one mistake, therefore all your other figures are wrong).

The Gecko (Gamecube CPU) was based on a G3 processor but had an extended instruction set which made it far faster at game related functions than a G3 at the same clock speed. In 2001 Mac was releasing G3 based iMacs at 500MHz to 700MHz which were considered (roughly) equal to 1GHz to 1.5 GHz Intel based PCs at the time.

I think we'd all like to see the answer on this one as it's patently false to claim XB is twice as powerful as GCN.

Maybe if you sell your PS3 and buy some games for the Wii - then you will feel like playing games (and even have some change to buy other things :>). Then we won't get as many of these threads started...
