French paper Les Echos confrms May release date for Alone in the Dark

The French newspaper Les Echos featured an exclusive interview with Patrick Leleu who confirmed that he has made the decision to release the new Alone in the Dark game in May. Development is close to complete but the team wants to polish a few things off and doesn't wish to take short-cuts. There was no specific mention regarding a PS3 version of the game.

I wonder if they're going to make one version for the HD consoles and PC, and one for the Wii and PS2, or rather the same game with different graphics for the different consoles. Any news on the details?

Yes, it's shipping May-June.

However, the recent screens I've seen are absolutely TERRIBLE. Looks like a bad Wii or good PS2 game.

*hopefully* that changes, and it's scary and good. It'd be a day 1 purchase for me if it was good, and something my GF wanted.
