What? They are describing their experience, not showing it. |
Well there's a wiiU(off footage) vs Ps3 (dieect footage) on youtube where it shows a very smooth gameplay and better textures. Night and day is overexagerating, also, the "above pic" is not even 720p and gameplay footage shows the same jaggies and tough edges as the other footage.
I agree with everything else, tough im not really worried about rayman legends since it runs beautiful given the driect footage i saw. Probably a faulty demo units
Im still hyped even after reading this. I don't think Nintendo would release faulty hardware.

Exactly, just off screen footage so we can't really tell how good the textures are. I'm sure night and day is exaggeration though, as you say. Just don't expect 1080p60fps |
They are pretty dam different even when you see offscreen footage. Framrate cant really be judge becasue youtube video, but was the same peace as the ps3 so it was smooth, that it might be better? doubt so, but not really out of possibility, unless they lock it. 1080p im pretty sure thatit wont tough, ubi wont give that much effort.
There is no option but to have them fixed in time for launch, the alternative is unthinkable.
For now, minor graphical deficiencies will be acceptable. For now.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
I hope Nintendo doesn't pull off a RoD on us.
I think this article is more like:
the bad news: Wii U is made by Nintendo
but wait for the good news: It is a Nintendo platform
Nintendo is that friend of yours that is harmless, doesn't disrespect and injure nobody, but you can't count on him because he only minds his own business.
That's how I see this Wii U Saga. Another underdog at media's eyes, but a home for upcoming stellar and unique experiences not possible elsewhere.
Ah, I see how it is, Pez. You stop posting in threads regarding WiiU's power... only to make one of your own.
Seriously though, yeah some of this news is a bit disheartening. Hopefully Nintendo's showing next month in NY will be much better, as they'll have the most up-to-date hardware and software on display.
Glad to hear ZombiU is looking better!
The Wii U crashed on me twice at E3. One when I played Rayman Legends and second when I played Just Dance 4. Just those two. Keep in mind these are dev kits.
The crashing is to be expected from pre-alpha code running on Dev kits, but Assassin's Creed 3 having poor framerate as well as missing effects is a bad sign for the quality of the port.
@TheVoxelman on twitter
Gamerader is known to bs and make up rumors.
How many people have said they had no lag issue? The only time there was problem was when the tv was to slow for the system.
Let's me show how this guy known nothing about what he is talking about.
"Everyone wants to know how the machine's shaping up against its peers. I can confirm visual quality has improved tangibly in ZombiU. Having played the E3 demo at an event in London a few months back, the difference is evident in the new Buckingham Palace level. The edges of the characters are no longer razor-sharp, movement seems more fluid and the game now looks about on par with a modern Xbox 360 title."
Have you seen the lighting ... you can't do that with ps3/xbox. Again you go to other sites or talk to other people where they say this looks better technically than ps3 games. Zombie isn't all muddly like ps3 games and when you walk around you can see this. Uncharted 3 was known to look horrible when you started moving because that's when the hardware was showing it's age.
" The PS3 version was playing beside it – and the difference is night and day. Right now, PS3's version of Assassin's Creed III is, simply put, better. Even gamers without my robot eyes would be able to see the difference."
Again showing ignorance and obviously caught in a lie because the ps3 version of ports ALWAYS look worst than the xbox360 versions. Wii-U has a similar system to that of the Xbox if anything they could do a direct port of the game. Assassin Creed developer already stated it would look better on the Wii-U. You can go on Youtube or other people who have said that Wii-U version looks better. Again this seems like Gamerader is just trying to bring in the trolls so they can get more views. They done this before.
"We saw Wii U units crash more than once during the show. Granted, we're looking at unfinished and therefore unstable code, but we saw the hardware freeze up during Rayman (which was rock-solid and finished-looking last time we saw it), to which the PR rep said 'it's been doing this all day – I think it's overheating or something'. That's a little concerning – it wasn't even that hot in the room. Assassin's Creed also locked up and had to be reset. Could just be a pre-release bug, of course. Could be.
More bad news in the shape of controller lag. I played Rayman Legends with the new Pro Controller (the one that looks like an Xbox 360 pad) and it was fine – as good as you'd expect..."
Never have I seen on comment beside these guys that wii-u has crashed at the event as many people have gone yet no one would comment on this beside Gamerader? Yea -_-. On a side note E3 had assassin creed.... yet it never crashed LOL or any of the games, hell no one had a problem with Wii-U either( but they did with pro-controller). The Nintendo Wii-U trips never had a problem? See a pattern?
"To make matters worse, this new controller iteration only works within about three feet of the console right now – and the input lag on it was dreadful. The GamePad's input response was fine – so there's something wrong with this version of the Pro Controller. It will not be like this at launch, I'll tell you that for nothing, but why is it still like this now?"
This guy is either lying or the system was having a bad day because I seen no one saying this.
"The Assassin's Creed 3 demo ended with the PR rep saying "That's the Wii U version, you can play the PS3 version on the showfloor and the Vita game is at the back of the room. Release date is October 31 for all versions." So I asked: "Is that Wii U as well?" to which he replied: "Er… that one's TBA, I think". What do you reckon - a little tongue slip revealing an October release for Wii U, or just a flustered PR forgetting about a staggered release schedule?"
Here is were I think it's obvious he is being fanboy of a system. What he is saying is that PR should have known the release date for the release of the game for the Wii-U.... um problem the wii-u hasn't even been given a release date. Is this guy that dumb to think would give the release date away before Nintendo or even know? Plus watch how he tone is towards this interview he obviously trying to cold balls Nintendo by the way he responds and tells his viewers. He is trying to over and over put over that fact it's weaker than the ps3 and xbox version. When it's already been confirmed to not be and others have reported the opposite. This is called fanboy/troll journalism.
Plus he puts this under good news? Lol this obviously like telling someone there is no good news just bad and more bad . Come on guys don't fall for this you guys are smarter than this.
Overall this is disinformation.
The system was either having a bad which many have reported the only problem was the TV was to slow for the Gamepad. The rest is obvious bs trying to get some hits/views kinda like europegamer LOL.
EDIT: It's already been confirmed to run at 60 frames per second at the least. Again obvious troll is obvious.
