I like how Room414 post was ignored, apparently their are conflicting reports about what the next gen consoles can actually do, but they are choosing to ignore the positive news in lieu of the negative. Not so much different from the WiiU "haters"

Actually, I just responded to him... patience is a virtue.

Regarding your last response to me, of course graphics enthusiasts have always gravitated toward PC.  My point is as much as you're quick to exclaim that WiiU fans should keep their expectations in check, I think you'd be wise to do the same regarding Durango and Orbis as far as power.

From what ive seen the WIi U is not a generational leap like past consoels was, thats why I said what I said. As for PS4/720, every system those companies have put out have been generational leaps over the predecessors. So I have no reason to believe now would be different, thats just my opinion.  I cant say the same for NINty, ok yes Wii was one console, but it was successful and i have no reason to believe they wont try to replicate that success. thats just me.

I gave you plenty of reasons why PS4/720 won't be a huge generational leap.

Im not saying your wrong, but im not saying your right either, especially since you cannot see into the future. Ive seen some arguments and reasons why it will be a generational leap.  BUt this isnt about PS4/720, this is about Wii U which you've pretty much said is not a generational leap which is all ive been trying to say anyway

It is a generational leap for Nintendo.  The WiiU is a huge step up over the Wii and will probably be the only Next Gen console I own.  If it gets all the good 3rd party games, there's nothing really out there that would force me to get a PS4 or X720.

Unless KH3 comes out exclusively on Sony.  Then I'd probably end up getting a Sony.  But I have this strange feeling that it'll come out multiplat or for WiiU.

Ubisoft, I expected better than this.

Not all is lost, as I mentioned in another thread:

I have a friend who works in QA for Ubisoft and he told that last week they got the AC3 PS3 version to test (they have been working on the 360 one for a few weeks now) but the Wii U version has not arrived yet, that means that the development team is still working on it and since it would most likely release 2 or 3 weeks later than the other ones makes sense.

That is good news because bugs and freezing errors are going to be removed and missing effects and other graphical problems can also be fixed.

Now that is also bad news, because it could mean a small delay for the game depending on the final release date, or a compromise between making the framerate really smooth or adding the effects instead of both.

I would rather they delay the game and upgrade it than release some subpar rubbish.

The PS3/360 version of the game should be the bare minimum for any Wii U game.

We'd been worried that we might need to re-engineer all the effects and shaders in the game, but they worked just fine."

This is a quote taken from the Sega devs comments on the Wii U. The AC3 comments don't make sense.

I believe they are intentionally neglecting/nerfing the Wii U version to appeal to Sony and Microsoft fans. The arguments just don't add up with the facts across the net.

That is just ridiculous.  Completely and utterly ridiculous.  If they wanted to pander to MS and Sony fans, they just wouldn't release AC3 on the wii at all.  Much much cheaper.

They are not releaing it on the Wii. They are releasing it on the Wii U and in an adittedly poor manner.

No aspect of any comment they have made to date suggest that they putting there effort into the Wii U version. In fact, I remember a dude posting in the thread earlier where one of the devs was stating how subpar the Wii U version was going to be.

It is generational leap for Nintendo, but that doesnt mean much when two other consoles have been out for years that were already way more powerful than WIi. So no its not really that much of a leap in the larget picture. THe picture that just DOESNT include Ninty, and good for you for buying only one console( not sarcasm)

THis, its pretty much insane to think Ubisoft would need to pander to HD fans, NVM the fact that we are talking about a franchise that sells millions on one of the HDs alone, PS360 is the biggest audience for this series

Your credibility is fading with pressumptions such as this one.

Might it more likely have to do with having to port over the game engine to Wii U later than the others, having fewer dev kits, dealing with several dev kits revisions, learning  new hardware, juggling mutliple Wii U projects and trying to balance the expected return on investment for a new hardware launch?

No.  Instead of acting like a billion dollar corporation, I suppose their board of directors just wants Ubisoft to stick it to Nintendo gamers, right?

My credibility is fading with forum posters who never cared what I had to say to begin with? Oh, I'm so hurt... How many times are you going to reapeat the exact same passive agressive statement? If you don't like what I have to say then , don't. You don't believe? Then don't believe. I'm not trying to win your favor, when you obviously have no intention to understand. At least I back up the things I say without resorting to personal attacks  in leu of an actual real argument and making passive agressive remarks.

And no, that is obviously not what I meant in the slightest. What possible reaoning would lead you to conclude that I did beside your hope for negativity and your own presumptions? I don't answer loaded questions. Now try again.

You guys sure seem obsessive about posts you see no credibility in. I'm certainly not stalking any of you with no other intent but to start a pointless conflcit. What you are doing is straight up trolling but that is apparently fine for someone reason.

This thread is about "Assassin's Creed 3". What you think of me is not the topic of this thread. Take that elsewhere. Now would you please stop harrassing me and get back on topic.
