The work is pretty good, shows diversity.. In your setup now it's good that you have only four projects otherwise it would be a long page to read but my advice is to make it 6 or 7 but not more then that.. Make it more like a portfolio site where you have 6 project names or pictures where you can click on and read the entire thing.. Make it a bit more informative.. Lose the "it was a school project..." but add a thing like:
year: 2011
Client: university of Amsterdam
Medium: print/tv/web etc
There is the only weakness I see.. 4 projects and 3 are for school.. Where you might had guidance from your teacher.. That's what comes to mind when I see that: "schoolproject" That's why I say 6 so if you could find 2 thing that aren't school related would be great.. It would show independence in work and mind.. With 4 projects it might be luck but with six you show talent.. 1 project doesn't even have to be a piece for marketing or advertising.. A short personal writing is always welcome.. It gives a feeling about how you use words in general.. There is also something in your descriptions of your projects.
Those could be a bit sharper. Like i said lose the "school project" part.. Talk about your work but try to avoid to rate your own work.. Its strange to see: " I think this banner would have been highly successful in raising awareness of the festival’s existence." I would have been more gutsy and say "this banner would have been.." and instead of "I feel that the ending tagline" "The ending tagline.." don't think, feel guesstimate what your work would have done but be more confident, but not arrogant, and know as a fact how your work would have been recieved.
Show that you know what you are doing with more confident, guts then the others and you'll be fine
