I edited in some updates from Pezus' thread into the OP. Now i'm going to shut down Pezus' thread.

Sad news. What games did they do? Too lazy to google it right now :P

Barbarian, Shadow of the Beast, Lemmings, Wipeout, Destruction Derby, The formula one games made for Sony Consoles when Sony had the license...

A huge loss. A shocking trend with Vita and Sony studios:

Bigbig Studios releases Vita game, Sony closes them.
Zipper Interactive releases Vita game, Sony closes them.
Studio Liverpool releases Vita game, Sony closes them

In the case of Zipper, I believe Sony already was going to close them after the poor performance of Socom 4.

Implying I'm upset lol.

I'm just pointing out a atrange and very coincidental trend that most of your post about PS systems tend to be negative comments, er, jokes. Amirite?

(for the record, when you say "it was just a joke" and then explain why you said it, and that 'actually, it holds some basis', that's called rationalizing.)

Does not hold any basis. I never tried to rationalize that into their last three games being on Vita, but by a cosmic coincidence or not, they are. And because of that MORBID coincidence, I used curse.

BTW... I never talk bad about games and systems - the only one I did (in one post or two) is COD, which I regret already and probably won't ever talk about its quality (still find a mistake giving the world's most valuable IP right now to Nihilistic Studios especially in Vita's situation). I don't talk negatives at all about that. Just sales and as they're not shining right now, what good is there to talk? You probably will love my views of 3DS in the west.

(Of course I'm more Nintendo inclined too, I don't hide this at all)

Like talking to a wall.

ra·tion·al·ize/ˈraSHənlˌīz/

Verb:
  1. Attempt to explain or justify (one's own or another's behavior or attitude) with logical, plausible reasons, even if these are not true...: "she couldn't rationalize her urge to return to the cottage"

"If that's at me, it was just a joke. Not logic.

It's just strange to find out that all the their last games were for Vita. (plausible if not true justification) Of course not factual, but it is some kind of curse in a sensationalist way"

It's difficult enough talking to someone who doesn't want to listen, but it becomes more difficult when you have to explain what words mean.

All you had to do was say, "I was being doom and gloomy as a joke".  That IS what you were doing, correct? You were pretending like the vita was at fault because it would be funny, right?

I wouldn't put this down as a huge loss at all. Losing Naughty Dog or Santa Monica would be huge. Unfortunetly Studio Liverpool, considering their size, have produced very little this generation. I just wish they'd made another destruction derby, those games were amazing.

I'm all for Sony closing studios when they stop producing the goods, begin to stagnate or grow too large and unweildy. At this moment in time Sony could do with trimming some of the fat in SCEWS.

Next on the chopping block would probably be parts of the japan studio or the cambridge or london studios. I think the Japan studio works on a lot of the updates on the firmware side of things though, so perhaps despite their size and lack of releases, they are still very productive.

lol o man that sales guy is funny.

Hmm Wipeout...imagine Nintendo hiring those devs and putting them on a new F-Zero. With Sony shutting down all their good studios, outsourcing to nihilistic must be really cheap.

I'm sorry...what?

lol, it's like Sales said, Sony closed down 4 HUGE studios that produce wipeout, buzz, and socom. These are huge titles....that is, until you put them in a list war, then suddenly those titles are crap. Right? hahah
