Wii U has become the Platinum Box.
Somewhere out there... Khuutra is pleased.

If they release Vanquish for it, he'll buy 8.
Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Yeah, where is that guy?
...he probably fainted.
WHERE IS MY KORORINPA 3
Soooooo buying day one.
Deluxe Set $349 (have Nintendoland)
$60 NSMBU
$60 COD BLOPS2
$50 Pro Controller (x2 maybe)
$50 wiimote+nunchuk
Then before year is over I'll pick up other great titles like AC3, B:AC, Rayman Legends, ZombiU
maybe others like Aliens, wonderful 101, tanktanktank, bayonetta2, ninja gaiden3,
by March: pikmin3, MonsterHunter3gHD, and who knows what else...
(depending on launch dates, some of those may slip to by March)
So excited!!!!!
This conference absolutely buried their E3 show.
High points: Bayonetta 2... exclusive, no less!; Mario is a launch day game; good (not amazing, but good) console price; comes with HDMI; The Wonderful 101 (!); Nintendo TVii will be a very cool feature if they pull it off as well as they indicated; COD BO2 proves that a full game with beyond Nintendoland visuals can run on the TV and controller simultaneously.
Low points: No new teaser for Retro's game, Waverace, Eternal Darkness, etc; That damn controller price...
Overall, great show.
Personally, I was disappointed. I was hoping for more high profile 3rd party announcements. Bayonetta does nothing for me, and I have no experience with monster hunter. I am looking forward to announcements from 3rd parties though.

Add MonHun to the high points, and there you have, you nailed it
Iwata confirmed Monolith game, though... so that's good too
Just for the UK users, ShopTo have put the Premium Bundle (the $350 deal) for £280. There's some way to tumble there (remember the first 3DS prices after the price reveal here were £230, but eventually went as low as £189).
As such, I'd imagine we'll see the Premium over here for below £250.
WTF is wrong with Gaf? This has got to be one of the greatest launches I have seen for a system. $50 too high? You got to be freaking kidding! Oh well, who cares what they think. Wii U Day One!
