Yeah I had cruised through the game up to that point, definitely the hardest part in the game.
What I did, is run to the right when the two asaris first attack you (leave your comrades behind, they should be alright), then take them out with the assault rifle from long range.
Then Benezia will summon two groups of minions. Go to the corner you're closest to, take out shotgun and kill everyone there. Then take out the others that are behind you. After that part it was easy sailing for me, just be sure to use biotics/med packs when you have to.
