I would also have one sku that bundled Vita with PS4 at launch. IMO we are to the point were games can be built to support features, and you can use them if you pay the extra cash for the extra peripherial. Just like any real life activity, there is a minimum entry point, but if you want to spend the cash, you can gain an advantage.

Now that you put it that way, that's a pretty good idea. More people will have Vitas so developers can take advantage of the Vita/PS3 capability. It would also be a way for Sony to stealth expose more peopple to the Vita itself, thus increasing sales. To top all of that off, developers can take serious advantage of the Vita, and start making games to compete with the Wii U. Sounds like a win-win situation for Sony.

I don't know about other countries but in the US there's a bundle on Walmart's website right now for 450$.

EDIT: You also have the option of getting both version of MvsCapcom3 with it for a total of 498$.

I love the idea. They could cut 50 off the PS3 and 50 off the vita. Offer the bundle for 400 with a cross controller
cross buy game. They could leave out the normal PS3 controller to help off set the cost some. Maybe even the power brick from the Vita. Although that may not help too much. But in order for it to work they would have to make the PS3 completely controllable from the vita. Meaning they would have to change the XMB.

Sony should make a PlayStation All Stars PS3 + Vita bundle with both versions of the game included, but I can't imagine how much they will sell it for. They should stop losing money and make as much money as possible from these bundles and cross-buy, even though they'll won't profit as much.

Actually what they should do is use the PS3 as a memory card for the Vita. That way you can buy games and store them on the HDD of the PS3 so you only have to keep your favourite games on your memory card.

Walmart might only sell a few of these, but I hope they get counted in Vita sales data for VGC. Vita needs all the sales it can get.

a redesign cheaper Vita will be free with next PS ( PS4 ) will be more attractive...
cause i deeply believe sony will make Vita works much more better with the next PS ( PS4 ) than with PS3...

The financial implications would be ridiculous, so no.

However, in a few years, a PSVita+PS3 bundle for £300 or so could be an idea; if there's a well built up library, for this could prolong PS3 sales.
