I moved out 3 years ago when I moved cities for uni, best thing ever. It was really hard sometimes and all I wanted to do was move back home. But I stuck it out and the independence is brilliant. I've moved back to my mum's between new apartments for a couple of weeks at a time and we just do each other's heads in after a few days. Having your own space is always a winner.

Probably one of the best things I ever did to help myself move forward in life was to move out of the family home I had lived in all my life, although it was hard at the time.
I didn't get out until I was 22 but that move inspired me to travel the world and find all kinds of new adventures!

I still live with my parents and honestly I'm not ashamed or in a hurry to get out. I'll probably end up doing it some two years from now though. Probably when I'm about to get married or at least living with someone else because I don't like being alone.
