Forums - PC - Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 to release on PC

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 producer Dave Cox has announced via Twitter the game will be released on PC due to “popular demand.” The game will be the conclusion to the saga, and features Dracula returning to his castle in order to reacquire his powers. Konami followed up the tweet with an official press release on the matter, adding it would be simultaneously developed by Mercury Steam alongside the console versions. Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 is slated for release in 2013 for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.

Pity the first one didn't launch on PC, I don't really like playing story driven games out of order.

I know which version I'm buying

(it's the PC version)

So excited for this game, you guys, hoo baby

How much does this game rely on knowing the last game?

There's no real way to answer this question until it comes out, and apparently the 3DS game will serve to bridge the gap

I'd recommend playing the first one if at all possible, though, it's pretty great

Mixed feelings about this one.

One one hand I like the option to play this wonderful adventure with better graphics, but on the other hand I don't want Castlevania to fall in the hands of pirates.

Erm, you do know that people play pirated games on their xbox360, right?

OT: Those are good news. I'm stil playing the first one on my 360 (it's a legal copy, don't worry), and I'm looking forward this game. And if there is a chance of getting it for my PC during a Steam sale, then it's even better news!

Please excuse my bad English.

Former gaming PC: i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070

Current gaming PC: R5-7600, 32GB RAM 6000MT/s (CL30) and a RX 9060XT 16GB

Steam / Live / NNID : jonxiquet    Add me if you want, but I'm a single player gamer.

This is the kind of game that doesn't really work without a controller (which I do use on my pc)

There is also the GBA, DS, PS1/2, and PSP games, which are all platforms rife with piracy.

Also

Thread should get a few dozzen more posts now

It wont sell on the PC at all. But I hope it will be as good as the first one

So they should just not make any PC games, because pirates can pirate it?

They can keep making PC exclusives, but I don't like that the console guys are paying for the development of multiplats that end up for free on the PC.

Well, excluding Elder Scrolls because a PC version and mods are so important to me.
