Forums - Nintendo - Ninja Gaiden 3 on Wii U is the "hardcore fan package"

If they're making such big changes to the game, I hope they're atleast going to rerelease it on PS360 if this is the proper hardcore version... if not, fuck them.

This version is published by Nintendo, IIRC. So, no.

Proud to be the first cool Nintendo fan ever

Number ONE Zelda fan in the Universe

DKCTF didn't move consoles

They got a long way to go to make this as good as Sigma 2

Ask me about being an elitist jerk

Time for hype

They should add the original NES Ninja Gaiden trilogy to the package so people can complete both trilogies.

Not buying it until there is a Sigma in the name.

Do you even know the significance of the Sigma in the name? It was put there by the guy who was porting th Ninja Gaidens to the PS3 to make it appear to be something different than Itagaki's(which is wasn't). There was nothing special or new exept for in Sigma 2 because he wanted to pander to Sony when he took control of the series. Its nothing more than a rebraned of somebody else's work.

Now he heads the series so the game was Sigma from the moment it hit the shelf only without the letters. We all see how that turned out. The guy has no talent. There is no more Itagaki there for him to leech off of.

Sigma is the same as saying "Sony edition" because that was all that it was.

Ninja gaiden 3 bombed in sales. I had so high hopes for it and it turned out to be my most dissapointed game.
The game is the worst in the series no contest

A nice way to screw the ps3/360 fans. He will probably announce Sigma 3 on TGS

Frankly I really don't care about the history of this game but if they make a lot of changes compared to the PS360 version it would be smart to rebrand it. If Sigma is connected to Sony then call it Lambda, Theta, Omega or, I don't know, Special Edition.

Ongoing bet with think-man: He wins if MH4 releases in any shape or form on PSV in 2013, I win if it doesn't.

It does have a different name: Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge

Some new features:

  • Unique Wii U controls – During single-player mode, players can enjoy faster and more fluid action by using the touch screen of the Wii U GamePad controller to select weapons, execute Ninpo, see in-game information and much more.
  • New Weapons and Ninpo Types – Exclusive to the Wii U version, the game includes six weapon types and three Ninpo types, allowing for greater game-play variation and deeper strategy.
  • Character/Weapon Progression System – Using the Karma points earned during game play, a player can upgrade his weapons and Ninpo and increase the character HP level.
  • Faster, More Intense Battles – Improved enemy AI, the return of dismemberment, as well as new enemy types and battle areas have been added for greater variety in battles and increased replay value.

^Well that's a start...
