Tear Away was the only game that appeared to be worth buying in my opinion.

COD Vita did not deliver; looked like a low-res Wii game, and that is supposed to sell handhelds?

Call of Duty ALWAYS looks like a low Res Wii Game
In the shooter world Battlefield 3 PC and stuff like Crysis 3,KZ3 and so on are considered good.
CoD ALWAYS looks like Garbage on every platform, even on PC - Engine from 1999 won't make a game better no matter what hardware you use.
But it will sell hardware cause the CoD Kids buy everything they can get...they would pay 60$ for an empty case with a CoD Cover on it.

Eh I call BS on that.

They would have to buy the hardware, a memory card, and an extra $40 on top of that for a Call of Duty game STRIPPED DOWN with less features and the graphical prowess of venomously hated Wii console game from 2007? Thanks but no thanks.

COD looks 'Good Enough' on the other platforms.

Leatherhat on July 6th, 2012 3pm. Vita sales:"3 mil for COD 2 mil for AC. Maybe more. "  thehusbo on July 6th, 2012 5pm. Vita sales:"5 mil for COD 2.2 mil for AC."

Britain disowned Liverpool a long time ago, and I imagine Europe has done the same.

You did not just say that :(

Not even close to E3.

E3 focused on triple A games that many people will want and buy.

At this conference they focused on niche art games not coming out this year, wonderbook, and games already announced.

Cross play is a nice incentive, but like many people I like to have a physical copy of my games though I still don't think it's a good enough incentive to buy their expensive memory cards.

Also. where the hell is the third party support for Vita. Nothing new from third parties was announced, I hope there are some at TGS.

At least SCEJ is alive which can't be said for the Last Guardian.

Look at the reaction at 1:40

Yeh, those Saint's Row, DJ Hero and Assassin's Creed games on 3DS  that he especially wanted to 'draw our attention to' were really great.

I mean, they could have been if they weren't cancelled....

Yeah and The Last Guardian won best of E3 2009. Shit happens.

Still a good conference. The funny part is that the exact games you mentioned were the ones people got the least excited about, judging from their reaction.

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

I suppose you did give us the Beatles, so 1960s Liverpool is more than welcome in Britain.

Unfortunately, SCE Liverpool Studio wasn't around then

Yes, it was. Some very cool new titles, specially Tearaway.

My friends (I wish!) down at Psygnosis gave us such wonders as Colony Wars, WipEout & G-Police.  They helped out many a British developer in the 1990's - DMA Design (aka Rockstar North) & Reflections (Driver) being the two best examples.

Even nowardays their XDev team have worked on Motorstorm, LittleBigPlanet, Heavenly Sword etc.

Sure, they've been quieter in terms of retail releases for a while now, but I think people just look at them and say "Oh, WipEout" without actually researching what they really do.  Or at the very least, what they've done in the past!

They are equal. E3 was practically all about ps3 and gamescom was practically all about vita. People wanted them to talk about vita and they did
