I find it quite disheartening just how many people have a problem with the fact that the Wii is underpowered graphically....do you people really care so much about graphics? seriously? I thought we were above that.

It doesn't really bother me, but if we're going to talk about the system's flaws, it's too obvious not to mention. It has missed out on a lot of games because it couldn't run them without the game having to be heavily re-engineered. I guess I should have said "processing power" instead of "graphics."

But it's not really a flaw.  If you like greater graphics or something, that's cool and you're plenty entitled to feel that way, but it doesn't make the games inherently BAD.  Complaining that it doesn't support proper HDMI out, and is therefore vaguely incompatible with HDTV's (it looks horrible on an HDTV but not on an SDTV) is a legitimate flaw in a world where many people have HDTV's now, but saying it's flawed becuase it's not keeping up with the PS360 graphically kind of isn't fair, if you ask me.

My Console Library:

PS5, Switch, XSX

PS4, PS3, PS2, PS1, WiiU, Wii, GCN, N64 SNES, XBO, 360

3DS, DS, GBA, Vita, PSP, Android

Around the Network

Only have had 3 games released in the last 3 years, stupid devs keeping their games away from his holiness Dreamcast.

Former something....

I guess 360 is kinda my preferred platform, so here are the flaws:
- Console still prone to failure, yes, even the new slim ones. I had one a new slim one get red rings and the replacement I got was dead on arrival so technically that puts me on my 3rd Slim model
- Paying for live, yeah it's worth the cost but it sucks paying the cost of a game each year
- You have to be online to play your XBLA games, I'm at my cottage where the internet is mediocre at best and I can't play XBLA games like Crazy Taxi that I've downloaded because I'm not signed in online.
- You can't re-assign controllers like on PS3.

This is kind of ironic for me as I'm usually the guy DEFENDING the Wii's capabilities. XD

The Wii's graphical/processing power did not hinder my enjoyment of it. That's why it's my favourite of the current gen consoles. But since the other consoles here seem to be evaluated in comparison to each other, then it seems only fair to judge the Wii in the same way.
